Delivery & collections
Everything you need to know about our delivery methods, vehicle access, kerbside unloading and collecting from TW Aggregates.
How we deliver
Delivery methods

Every order is assigned to the most suitable delivery method: either our internal transport fleet or a trusted third-party pallet courier. TW Aggregates selects the method according to the product, quantity, destination and operational requirements.
The delivery method is selected by TW Aggregates and may differ between orders. Please review the vehicle and surface requirements below before completing checkout.
Plan ahead
Delivery days and times

Local deliveries and Click & Collect can operate Monday to Friday, subject to the applicable ordering cutoff, lead time and availability. Third-party courier deliveries operate Tuesday to Friday only and are not available on Mondays.
Deliveries are normally made between 06:00 and 17:00. They may take place at any point during this window, and we cannot provide or guarantee a specific delivery time.
If you are hiring a gardener or labourer, arrange them only after the products have arrived and been inspected. TW Aggregates cannot accept liability for labour costs caused by a delivery time, delay or failed delivery.
Essential information
Delivery location & access restrictions

Tell us about every restriction or obstruction in the delivery notes during checkout. Missing information can prevent safe delivery and may result in additional charges.
Please tell us if your address has:
- Low bridges or height restrictions
- Weight limits, including 7.5-tonne restrictions
- A narrow road or parked vehicles
- A weak bridge or restricted approach
- Overhanging trees or low branches
- A steep or sloped driveway
- Gravel, grass, loose or uneven surfaces
- Double red or yellow lines
- No suitable kerbside unloading point
- School-time or pedestrian access restrictions
If you are unsure whether delivery is possible, call 01902 784866 before ordering.
Our own vehicles
Internal transport deliveries

Our heavy goods vehicles are approximately 10 metres long, 2.55 metres wide and 3.65 metres high. They will typically arrive with a rear-mounted Moffett forklift used for unloading.
Suitable access and a safe unloading area must be available for a large vehicle. Products cannot be lifted over fences, walls or hedges. The driver will deliver to the nearest safe and accessible kerbside point.
Pallet courier
Third-party courier deliveries

Courier orders arrive on a pallet and are unloaded using a manual pump truck. A hard, solid, smooth and level surface is essential.
- Pump trucks cannot operate on gravel, grass, loose stone or uneven ground
- Pump trucks cannot operate safely on sloping surfaces
- They cannot safely travel over very high kerbs
- Moving goods beyond the kerbside is at the driver’s sole discretion
- Delivery remains kerbside even when special instructions are supplied
- Instructions are passed to the courier but cannot be guaranteed because the courier operates outside our direct control
Avoid extra costs
Failed deliveries & additional charges

If delivery fails because an undisclosed restriction prevents safe access or unloading, charges may apply to return the goods and arrange another delivery. Common causes include low bridges, weight restrictions, overhanging trees, school access restrictions and roads narrowed by parked vehicles.
Contact the team as early as possible if your access, delivery date or project requirements change.
Important notes
Before placing your order

We deliver to UK mainland postcodes only. All deliveries are kerbside, and the driver will choose the nearest point that can be reached and used safely. The customer is responsible for suitable access and unloading conditions.
Please read these details before checkout and contact our office on 01902 784866 if there is any uncertainty about access.
